Putting URL Shrinking Aside, there are a lot of other cool tools that you can use to spruce up your web browser… especially if you are using the highly acclaimed “Mozilla Firefox”.

Firefox allows users to add Extensions to their browser which give users the ability to fully customize their web browsing experience.  Here are a few of our favorites:

• Image Assistant - Gives users rich functionality over images loaded on the web
• Clippings - Save text that you enter on a frequent basis for quick insertion later.  Kind of like an advanced copy paste if you will
• UnPlug - Download embedded video and audio on web pages you visit very quickly and easily
• Shareaholic - A quick and easy way to share the websites you are on with friends and other people around the world
• MouseZoom - Zoom in and Out of web pages easily only using your mouse!
